Gagnon Walker Domes Ltd. provided planning consulting services to Azuria Group including expert witness testimony in connection with the future development of a multi-phased, mixed-use Master Plan development on the former Honeydale Mall lands along Dundas Street West in Etobicoke.
The Master Plan consists of twelve (12) mid-rise and tall buildings, ranging from 10-20 storeys in height oriented along the existing and proposed public road network. The Master Plan contemplates approximately 15,000 m2 (160,000 ft2) of commercial floor space and 2,250 residential units along with a 0.60 hectares (1.50 acres) public park.
The Honeydale Mall lands have immediate access to multiple surface transit routes along the Dundas Street West corridor, and is within close proximity of Kipling Subway Station. The lands form part of the Transit Oriented Community which contemplates the planned extension of the Bloor West Subway extension to Sherway Mall.
