Gagnon Walker Domes Ltd. provides planning consulting services to Davpart Inc. in connection with the redevelopment of the automobile-oriented Centennial Mall into a mixed-use, transit-oriented master planned development in the Kennedy Major Transit Station Area within the City of Brampton.

Proposed buildings will range in height from 3 to 39 stories; with the tallest buildings oriented along the site’s Kennedy Road North frontage, which transitions to mid-rise and townhouse development to the east to provide an appropriate transition to the existing surrounding built form.

The Master Plan will be developed in multiple phases and will ultimately provide approximately 2,724 residential units and 5,500 m2 (59,2000 ft2) of commercial floor space; including a new grocery store. The initial phase of development shall use under-utilized surface parking areas to allow the mall to be retained until later phases. Private amenity spaces are proposed within the development, including three (3) significant privately owned public outdoor spaces that will accommodate small community events, markets, and social and recreational activities.
