Gagnon Walker Domes Ltd. provided planning consulting and project management services to the Mount Pleasant Landowners Group in connection with the addition of the approximately 920 hectares (2,273 acres) Mount Pleasant Secondary Plan Area into the City of Brampton Urban Boundary.

Project Management and planning consulting services included the approval of Regional and Local Official Plan Amendments, Secondary Plan Approval, Draft Plan of Subdivision and Zoning By-law Amendment Applications; including expert witness testimony at the Ontario Land Tribunal.

The Mount Pleasant Secondary Plan Area will accommodate over 11,000 residential units upon final build out, ranging from single-detached dwellings to mixed-use high-rise developments, as well as various institutional and commercial uses, and an extensive open space and natural heritage system.
