The development is strategically located at a key municipal gateway with visual prominence near the highway interchange. The proposed hotel is Phase 1 of a multi-phased redevelopment proposal for the property, which was formerly occupied by the 2-storey, 143-room Sunbridge Hotel and Conference Centre.
Overall, the Phase 1 development proposal contemplates the delivery of 200 hotel units, consisting of 80 hotel suites and 120 traditional hotel rooms, with various hotel amenities at grade.
