Gagnon Walker Domes Ltd. provided planning consulting services in connection with the development of one (1) 6-storey Avid Hotel in the Huntington Business Park at the intersection of Highway 7 and Highway 50 in the City of Vaughan.

The development is strategically located at the gateway of the Region of York and City of Vaughan. The Avid Hotel, the first in Canada, contributes to a built environment within an employment area that is pedestrian friendly, transit-supportive, and visually attractive.

Overall, the development provides 5,300 m2 (57,200 ft2) of floor area comprised of 119 hotel suites and various hotel amenities at grade.
