Gagnon Walker Domes Ltd. provided planning consulting services and expert witness testimony to Amexon Developments in connection with the development of the multi-phased, mixed-use Master Plan development near the intersection of Sheppard Avenue East and Leslie Street.
The redevelopment of the 5 hectare (12 acres) of office property includes 7 mixed-use buildings ranging from 12 to 31 stories in height. The project will accommodate 1,478 residential units and provide 31,200 m2 (335,000 ft2) of new and retrofit office and retail commercial uses. A publicly accessible park space is provided central to the development. A new direct connection to the relocated Oriole GO Station is provided within the community, which already provides immediate access to the Leslie TTC Subway Station.
The Residences of Central Park was awarded the prestigious honour of the 2023 People’s Choice Award by the Ontario Home Builder’s Association.
