Gagnon Walker Domes Ltd. provided planning consulting services to Worthington Homes Inc. in connection with the development of a residential Plan of Subdivision at the intersection of Trafalgar Road and Maple Avenue in the Town of Halton Hills (Georgetown).
Strategically located just beyond Downtown Georgetown, the development forms part of the master planned Halton Hills Civic Area which is planned as a pedestrian friendly urban development that is mindful of the subject site’s existing and planned contextual relationship of the Canadian National Railway Corridor, Natural Heritage System, Open Space elements and the neighbouring Halton Hills Town Hall, within one of the Town’s strategic growth locations.
Overall, the development facilitates 16 blocks of townhouses and a total of 101 residential units, 0.33 hectares (0.80 acres) of Open Space and 1.36 (3.35 acres) of protected valleyland associated with a tributary of Black Creek.
